After completing the American Idol Live Tour and recordings alongside friend and season 4 winner Carrie Underwood, Anwar progressed to headline his own concerts, wrote and released the inspirational single "Chosen" – a song inspired by a personal family member and dedicated to cancer survivors. The strength of his heartfelt message and dynamic vocal range took flight within the gospel community which allowed Anwar to perform gospel and jazz concerts abroad, sing, conduct mass choirs, vocal coach, compose, arrange, and play piano for countless, Pop, R&B, Broadway, and Christian Contemporary artists including Patti Labelle, Ashford & Simpson, Carole Bayer Sager, Kenny Babyface Edmonds, Lillias White, Kelly Price, Peggi Blu and more. In addition to recording, Anwar enjoys entertaining and singing with the amazing Code Bleu | Skyline Orchestras. Anwar is managed and partnered with the international branding firm JW2 Entertainment and he is a trustee of the Williams-Robinson Music Academy.

Anwar Robinson is presently living his best life as a recording artist, educator, front singer of a touring orchestra, choir conductor, and Director of Creative Arts. Anwar most recently completed his tenure as Artistic Music Director and Board Member at New York's United Palace Theater. He is now currently preparing for a 11 city motivational speaking & performance tour in 2019, and upon return he will announce the Good News of his new employment residency and position as President of Artistic Planning in which he consults and develops advanced curriculum, creative arts enrichment programs, original musical theater and performing arts productions that reinforce diversity, inclusiveness, community arts programming and academic outreach. (Thank you Rosie!☺) Anwar is a cohort member of NYSAIS (New York State Association of Independent Schools) and earned their certification for emerging leaders. His early career in education began shortly after accomplishing his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education & Voice at Westminster Choir College | Rider University and then became a public school educator of voice, music theory, and piano. Anwar simultaneously was a member of a young short-lived R&B group that signed with music industry legend Clive Davis. Anwar then built the groundwork to transition into a successful independent solo recording career that garnered national exposure, landed a principal role in the touring company of RENT the musical, GODSPELL, the original workshop of E. Lynn Harris' Invisible Life, and he is most notably recognized for achieving a top finalist position on the world renowned televised competition AMERICAN IDOL.
